Apply Supplements & Reductions by Package Tier
You can now apply supplements and reductions to specific Package Tiers within Tour Commercial Rules.
This enhancement gives you greater control over package-based pricing by allowing pricing adjustments to apply only to selected package tiers, rather than to every package on a tour.
Where To Find It
Navigate to Tour Management → Tour Commercial Rules → Supplements
When creating or editing a supplement, a new optional Package Tiers field is available after selecting a tour.

How to Set Up a Package Tier Supplement Rule
Step 1 - Create or Edit a Supplement
Edit an existing supplement rule or create a new one.
Select the appropriate details: type, details & conditions as required.
Step 2 - Select the Tour
Choose the tour (or tours) that the supplement applies to.
Once a tour has been selected, the Package Tiers field becomes available and shows relevant tiers for the tours you selected.
Step 3 - Select the Package Tier(s)
Choose one or more package tiers to apply the supplement to.
Only package tiers assigned to the selected tour are available in the list.

Step 4 - Save the Rule
Save the supplement.
The rule will now only apply in the booking journey when users select the chosen package tier(s).
How The Rule Work
If a package tier is selected
The supplement applies only to bookings made for the selected package tier(s).
For example, a supplement is configured for the Gold package:
Booking for gold package > supplement is applied
Booking for silver package > supplement is not applied
If no package tier is selected
The supplement behaves exactly as before. It applies to all package tiers for the selected tour(s).
Selecting multiple package tiers
You can select more than one package tier.
The supplement will apply to any booking that matches one of the selected tiers.
Supported Supplement Types
Package Tier filtering is available for:
Rate supplements
Extra supplements
Both work in the same way.
Example
You offer 2 package options:
Package | Supplement rule |
Gold | Single supplement +500 |
Silver | Single supplement +250 |
You need to create:
Supplement Rule A
Rate supplement rule assigned to specific contract or rate
Assigned to Gold Package tier for the relevant tour
Applied to solo passenger condition
Price change value set to markup of 500
Supplement Rule B
Rate supplement rule assigned to specific contract or rate
Assigned to Silver Package tier for the relevant tour
Applied to solo passenger condition
Price change value set to markup of 250
During booking, the correct supplement is automatically applied based on the customer's chosen package.
