The Latest Updates to Tour Amigo

A new setting has been added to Distribution Partner Commercial Configuration called Allow Contact Detail Input.

When enabled, agents making bookings as a Distribution Partner can enter and manage the Lead Passenger's contact details during the booking process, including their email address, phone number, and address.

Previously, these fields were automatically populated with Distribution Partner details and could not be edited. While this protected booking ownership, it prevented accurate passenger contact information from being captured.

This setting can be configured individually per Distribution Partner, allowing you to control which partners can capture passenger information during the booking journey.

With the new setting enabled:

• Passenger contact fields are no longer pre-filled with Distribution Partner details

• Passenger contact fields become editable during the booking process.

• The Distribution Partner that you are booking as remains visible in a separate information panel for reference.

• Booking ownership continues to belong to the Distribution Partner.

• Passenger contact details flow through to manifests, passenger lists, reporting, insurance documentation, and other areas of the platform.

  
  

When the setting is disabled, the existing behaviour remains unchanged:

• Distribution Partner details are automatically populated into the passenger contact fields.

• Contact fields remain read-only and cannot be edited.
