The Latest Updates to Tour Amigo

Overview

This change contains improvements to the “Private” flag on tours and tour instances which allows you to make whole tours or just specific dates of a tour private and not visible on your site. 

Private Flag

The Private flag can be set at a tour level or tour instance level.

Private Tour

The Private toggle for a tour is found at the bottom of the Tour Details when managing the tour. When enabled (toggled on), the whole tour will be hidden from the search & booking journey on your site. 

Private Tour Instance

The Private toggle for an instance is found towards the bottom of the instance management page when editing a specific tour instance. When enabled (toggled on), the specific tour instance will be hidden from the search & availability calendar on your site. You will only be able to book this tour via direct url - see section below for how to set this up.

Viewing and Booking Private Tour Instances

A new Copy Details Link option has been added to the dropdown menu on the Tour Instance Manager for a specific instance.

This allows you to create a url for that specific instance on any of your sites, which users can navigate directly to on the booking journey.

This is useful if you only want selected people to book a specific tour instance.

When a user follows this link, they are taken directly to the tour details page, showing only the specific instance in the availability calendar:
