The Latest Updates to Tour Amigo

This new journey configuration option allows you to show a tour in the search results when a user searches for a specific month, even if all instances of the tour for that month are sold out.

This provides several key benefits:

• Prevents empty search results - Users searching for a specific month are less likely to see no results, creating a smoother and less frustrating search experience.

• Maintains tour awareness and improves visibility of popular tours - Tours can still appear in search results even when a selected month is fully sold out, helping to increase product exposure even during fully booked periods.

• Encourages future bookings - Customers can still view sold out tours and may choose alternative dates.

Enabling new toggle

This can be enabled/disabled independently for each journey, allowing you to create different customer experiences across your booking journeys.

Operations > System Settings > Journeys

1. Click on Settings next to the chosen journey 

2. Click on Journey Settings tab

3. Scroll down and enable the ‘Show Sold Out Tours in Search’ toggle

You must have the 'Only Show Available Departures' toggle disabled on the journey when using this new toggle.
