The UK-based ski specialist will run its Bansko and Zakopane chalets, freeride trips and snow activities on Tour Amigo from December 2026, with a selective summer programme in Poland to follow in 2027.

Tour Amigo, the booking and distribution platform for multi-day tour operators, DMCs and cruise operators, has signed Snomads, a UK-based ski and mountain holiday specialist with bases in Bansko, Bulgaria and Zakopane, Poland. Snomads is the first dedicated snow and winter operator on Tour Amigo. It will move its chalets, freeride trips and snow activities onto the platform from December 2026, ahead of the 2026/27 ski season.

Snomads was founded by Maksimilian (Maks) Raychell and Ewan Cadman, who met as ski seasonnaires in the Austrian Alps almost 20 years ago. The business has run ski holidays in Bansko since 2012 and now offers 10 catered and self-catered chalets across its two destinations, backed by more than 240 five-star guest reviews.

Alongside its chalets, Snomads runs cat skiing, ski touring, snowmobile safaris, ATV tours, traditional kulig sleigh rides, ski lessons and airport transfers. Its freeride range reaches further afield, including ski and sail trips in Arctic Norway.

From chalet operator to multi-day winter adventure specialist

Snomads is changing how it sells. Rather than leading with accommodation, the business is leading with multi-day snow adventures, with the chalet stay built around them. A new Snomads website will launch alongside the move.

On Tour Amigo, Snomads will manage its chalet stays, bundled ski packages and standalone activities in one place. Guests can book a snowmobile safari without a chalet stay, or build both into one trip. Deposits, balance reminders and pre-trip details such as flight times, ski ability and boot size are handled automatically, and the team can coordinate bookings with local activity partners through the platform.

The move also opens Snomads to new sales channels. Tour Amigo distributes operators' products through a network of OTA and travel agent partners, including GetYourGuide and TourRadar, giving Snomads a route to travellers well beyond its own website.

Looking further ahead, Snomads plans to launch a summer programme in Poland in 2027, using the same platform to sell warm-weather multi-day mountain adventures and experiences.

A new way to sell accommodation

Most chalets and independent hotels sell rooms by the night and compete on price in accommodation channels. Snomads is taking a different route, packaging its chalets with the activities guests come for and selling the whole trip. On Tour Amigo, rooms, activities, transfers and extras sit in one inventory, so properties can sell bundled stays, add-ons and standalone experiences, and reach tour and activity marketplaces as well as accommodation channels.

Quotes

"We've always been a chalet company that happens to run brilliant adventures. Our guests come for the mountains, the freeride and the people as much as the bed, and we wanted a booking system that reflects that. Tour Amigo gives us one place to run our chalets, activities and extras across Bansko and Zakopane, and the room to grow into summer and new destinations." Maks Raychell, Co-founder and CEO, Snomads

"Snomads is our first dedicated snow operator, and they're exactly the kind of business Tour Amigo is built for: a specialist with great product that wants to grow beyond a single channel. Winter adventure is a category our distribution partners rarely see from independent operators, and we're excited to help Maks and Ewan put the mountains of Bulgaria and Poland in front of new travellers. Snomads also shows where independent accommodation is heading. When a chalet or boutique hotel sells the experience rather than the room, it stops competing on nightly rates and opens up channels that never listed it before." Murray Decker, CEO, Tour Amigo

Tour Amigo is now speaking with other winter and mountain operators, chalet companies, lodges and independent hotels looking to bring stays, activities and packages onto one platform. Operators can find out more at touramigo.com/tour-operator-software.
