New ‘Hide Passport Details if Not Mandatory’ Configuration
Currently, passport fields are displayed on the booking passenger form even when passport information is not required to complete the booking. This feature adds a new configuration option that will hide the optional passport fields in the booking journey, reducing friction and uncertainty for customers.

Enabling this for all journeys
Go to Operations > System Settings
On the ‘General Settings’ tab, scroll down to the ‘Hide Passport Fields’ toggle (they are organised alphabetically)
Click the toggle to enable it
This will apply to all of your journeys.
Enabling this for a specific journeys
Go to Operations > System Settings
Click on the ‘Journeys’ tab at the top
Click on ‘Settings’ next to the specific journey
Click on the ‘Journey Settings’ tab at the top
Scroll down to the ‘Hide Passport Fields’ toggle (they are organised alphabetically)
Click the toggle to enable it
This will apply to the specific journey only.
Works alongside the Tour’s Passport Requirements
This new toggle is intended to be used alongside the existing Tour Details ‘Passport Requirements’
It works in the following way:

'Hide Passport' config = enabled Passport Requirements for a tour = Required for Travel | Passport fields are not shown as they are all optional |
'Hide Passport' config = enabled Passport Requirements for a tour = Required for Booking | Only Passport Number, Nationality & Expiry Date are shown as required fields. All other passport fields are hidden as they are optional |
'Hide Passport' config = enabled or disabled Passport Requirements for a tour = Not Required | Passport fields are not shown |
'Hide Passport' config = disabled Passport Requirements for a tour = Required for Travel | All passport fields are shown, all optional |
'Hide Passport' config = disabled Passport Requirements for a tour = Required for Booking | All passport fields are shown, with Passport Number, Nationality & Expiry Date as required |
